Book nowBooking
How do I book a lesson?
Choose your lesson length, then a day and a start time on the booking page. Add your pick-up address and pay to confirm.
How long are lessons?
1, 1.5 or 2 hours. You choose when you book.
What times can I book?
Lessons start on the hour or half hour. The booking page shows every time that is free, and the Lessons page lists the days and hours.
Why can't I see a time right next to another lesson?
We keep 30 minutes free before and after each lesson to travel between pick-ups, so times too close to another lesson are not shown.
Can I ask for a day, time or area that is not listed?
Yes. Send a request with your suburb and the days and times that suit you, and we will get back to you. The request form is linked below.
Your car and L plates
Do you provide a car?
No. Every lesson is in your own car.
What does my car need?
It needs to be registered, covered by comprehensive car insurance and in safe working order. That means things like good tyres, no cracked windscreen, both side mirrors, and working indicators, brake lights, headlights and seatbelts.
Do I need L plates?
Yes. L plates must be on the front and back of the car.
What do I need to bring?
Your current learner licence, and your car with L plates on the front and back.
The logbook
How many logbook hours does a lesson count for?
In NSW, each hour of lessons with a licensed driving instructor counts as 3 hours in your learner logbook, for up to 10 hours of lessons.
What does that mean for a longer lesson?
A 1.5 hour lesson counts as 4.5 logbook hours, and a 2 hour lesson counts as 6.
Is there a limit?
Yes. The 3 for 1 counts for up to 10 hours of lessons, which is 30 hours in your logbook.
Paying
When do I pay?
Payment is made in full when you book.
How much is a lesson?
Prices depend on the lesson length and the day, from $80 for a 1 hour weekday lesson. The Lessons and prices page has the full list.
Why do weekends cost more?
Saturday and Sunday lessons have their own prices. They are shown on the Lessons page and on the booking page before you pay.
Cancelling and changes
How do I cancel or change a lesson?
Please use the contact form on our Contact page. Our Terms & Conditions cover cancellations.
When might a lesson not go ahead?
If the learner licence is suspended or expired, the car is not registered, insured or safe to drive, or there are no L plates on the front and back. A lesson can also be stopped for unsafe driving or if the learner seems to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
